Universal Stainless Announces Organizational Appointments

BRIDGEVILLE, Pa., April 18, 2001 -- Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. (Nasdaq:USAP) today announced that Paul A. McGrath, 49, has been appointed Vice President of Operations. Mr. McGrath continues as the Company's General Counsel and Secretary. He had also held the post of Director of Employee Relations. Donald B. Kaminski, 43, formerly Human Resource Director at Renaissance Industries, has been appointed to succeed Mr. McGrath in that role. The Company also announced that Richard M. Ubinger, 41, has been appointed Vice President of Finance in addition to his current position of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective immediately.
